Job Title: Production Area Janitorial Cleaner
Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Location: Greensboro, NC
Pay: $18.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Area Janitorial Cleaner to join a manufacturing facility in Greensboro, NC. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout production areas, ensuring a safe and sanitary work environment for employees and operations. The ideal candidate has industrial cleaning experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently while following safety guidelines. Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain industrial production workspaces and common areas
- Mop floors and clean walking paths, workstations, and work areas
- Dust, wipe down, and clean machinery, equipment, and production surfaces
- Remove debris, trash, and other materials to maintain a safe work environment
- Maintain cleanliness standards throughout all assigned production areas
- Use cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies safely and properly
- Follow all company safety procedures while working around production equipment
- Assist with additional housekeeping and facility cleaning duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or industrial cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work safely in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must meet background screening and drug screening requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience cleaning manufacturing or production facilities
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning products and equipment
- Understanding of workplace safety and sanitation procedures
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
