Enterprise Security Services Corporation is seeking dependable, observant, and service-oriented individuals to join our team as Unarmed Security Officers serving Germantown and surrounding Maryland communities. Your Work Area
Officers will serve client locations throughout Germantown and nearby Montgomery County communities. Assignments may include retail establishments, commercial properties, shopping centers, and other designated sites.Work locations may change depending on client coverage requirements. Candidates should have dependable transportation and be prepared to travel to assigned properties throughout the service area.
What You'll Be Doing
Your responsibilities will focus on maintaining site security, identifying potential concerns, and providing professional assistance to people at assigned locations.

Maintain a visible security presence: Help discourage theft, trespassing, vandalism, and unauthorized access.

Patrol assigned properties: Inspect interior and exterior areas for suspicious activity, security issues, and potential hazards.

Monitor access points: Observe entrances and exits and follow the access procedures established for each site.

Assist visitors and employees: Provide courteous assistance and respond professionally to routine questions.

Address disturbances: Help de-escalate disagreements and respond calmly to incidents in accordance with established procedures.

Document activities: Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.

Communicate security concerns: Notify site management of relevant incidents and contact emergency services when necessary.
Qualifications and Eligibility
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate reliability, sound judgment, and a professional approach to their responsibilities.
Applicants must:

Hold the required Maryland security guard certification or be eligible to obtain it through our licensed agency in accordance with Maryland State Police requirements.

Meet Maryland's minimum age and eligibility standards for security work.

Successfully pass the required criminal background check.

Have reliable transportation to assigned sites throughout Germantown and surrounding areas.

Demonstrate effective communication skills and awareness of their surroundings.

Be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Previous security experience is helpful but not required. Candidates entering the security field for the first time are encouraged to apply if they meet the applicable eligibility requirements.

Uniform and Equipment Requirements
Officers must be able to obtain and maintain a clean, professional Class A black uniform. Radios and other job-related equipment may be provided depending on the requirements of the assigned location.
Maintaining a professional appearance and following company and site-specific equipment procedures are required.
