Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Property Maintenance Technician to join our property management team. This is a multi-location position working across centrally located multi-family apartment communities in Brooksville, FL
Responsibilities:
- Perform service requests and routine general maintenance
- Properly report completed service requests through a smartphone app
- Conduct unit inspections and punch work
- Maintain vendor relations; coordinate and schedule vendors for unit turns/rehabs
- Interact with tenants professionally during service work
- Work within budget guidelines
- Travel to properties within a 3-mile radius
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of apartment maintenance experience (required)
- Strong proficiency in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
- HVAC and/or EPA Certification a plus
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with smartphones for service order & time reporting
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors year-round
- Ability to lift/move heavy items (including appliances) as needed
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (required)
- Cell phone with ability to respond to after-hours emergencies if needed
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required
- Ability to manage multiple vendors during unit turns/rehabs
Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-time | Generally Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
- Hours may vary based on property needs
- Overtime required for emergencies, including some evenings/weekends
- Salary commensurate with experience
