Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor (Nights)

Location: Greer, SC

Shift: 8 hours nights

Departments: injection, paint, assembly

Status of Hire: full-time, direct hire, salaried

Pay: $90-100k salaried plus OT after 45 hours

Reports to: Plant Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Lead maintenance team, promoting safety, quality and equipment availability
  • Ensure maintenance objectives are achieved; track and manage KPIs
  • Communicates equipment failures and corrective actions with team
  • Provide technical support and expertise to maintenance team
  • Support all teams in facility to create greatest opportunity for company success
  • Develop maintenance technicians to be cross functional and high performing team members
  • Work with Plant Maintenance Manager(s) and Department Managers on any disciplinary and non-conformance concerns
  • Prioritize and coordinate work assignments
  • Develop strong and respectful working relationships with all members of organization
  • Work together with technicians on equipment and projects as needed
  • Drive continuous improvement
  • Report maintenance activities and opportunities daily
  • Work requires walking, talking, seeing, hearing, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Must be able to reach above shoulder
  • Environment requires working under high and low temperatures at certain times
  • In carrying out his/her duties, the employee must apply (or ensure application of) integrated management system (Quality, environmental, security)



Requirements:

  • 5+ years of previous maintenance management experience in automotive OEM or Tier I supplier automotive background preferred
  • Technical aptitude and expertise are required in 1 or more of the following areas: injection molding, liquid paint lines/robotic paint application, automated assembly, and conveyors
  • Strong technical maintenance skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC specialty areas; ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, replace, tear-down, and rebuild parts, components, and equipment.
  • Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills in a work environment that is striving for continuous improvement
  • Ability to exhibit teamwork skills and actively participate in team activities in a positive working environment
  • Must be able to effectively lead while under pressure
  • Good communicator and leadership skills, good organizational leadership and structured approach
