Details:
- Maintenance Technician
- Ottawa,IL
- 1st Shift 5am-3:30pm
- Pay rate 25-28/hr
Responsibilities or job duties:
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Install and maintain production equipment.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Help line operator, line leader or line supervisor keep the line in the basic condition.
- Participating in the start-up of new products in the production lines.
- Demonstrate strong mechanic skills including, but not limited to, electrical, pneumatic hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- HS diploma/GED
- Valid DL
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills.
- Experience with electrical circuits from 24v dc up to and including 480v 3 ph.
