Qualifications
\n
- \n
- 1-2 years of experience in real estate investment, acquisitions, underwriting, investment banking, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
- Understanding of real estate valuation, cash flow analysis, and investment returns
- Familiarity with multifamily real estate and/or the Chicago market preferred
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced investment environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline

Key Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Underwrite multifamily acquisition opportunities, including detailed property-level financial models
- Analyze operating statements, rent rolls, capital expenditures, financing assumptions, and market data
- Build and maintain cash flow models, return analyses, and sensitivity scenarios
- Conduct market and comparable property research to support investment decisions
- Assist with due diligence and evaluation of prospective acquisitions
- Prepare investment materials, underwriting summaries, and presentations for internal review
- Track and evaluate investment assumptions throughout the acquisition process
- Collaborate with senior team members and external partners including brokers, lenders, property managers, and other advisors
