The Commercial General Manager \n\nwill have end-to-end ownership of the commercial lifecycle — from identifying and closing new \n\nbusiness, through implementation and onboarding, to ongoing account management,\n\nretention, prior authorization management, and expansion.\n\nThis individual will serve as a primary commercial representative of the organization within the \n\nmarket and will work closely with pharmacy leadership and the pharmacy operations team to ensure \n\nthat commercial growth is supported by appropriate operational capacity and excellent execution.\n\nThe successful candidate will be equally comfortable prospecting for a new facility, presenting to \n an executive team, coordinating a complex pharmacy transition, resolving an account issue, managing \n a prior authorization workflow, and working internally with the pharmacy team to prepare for \n upcoming growth.\n\nThis is an entrepreneurial, hands-on leadership position for someone who wants to build and\n manage a market rather than simply manage a sales territory.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nBusiness Development & Market Growth\n ● Own new business development throughout Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida.\n\n● Identify, prospect, and develop new opportunities across assisted living, behavioral health, \n\nserious mental illness (SMI), PACT, detoxification, residential treatment, partial care, intensive \n\noutpatient (IOP), psychiatric outpatient, IDD, group home, and other residential and \n\ncommunity-based healthcare organizations.\n\n● Build relationships with facility owners, executives, administrators, directors of nursing, \n\nclinical leadership, prescribers, psychiatrists, case managers, program directors, and other key \n\ndecision-makers.\n\n● Conduct regular in-person prospecting, facility visits, presentations, networking, and \n\nrelationship-building activities.\n\n● Develop a strong pipeline of prospective accounts and move opportunities from initial \n\nintroduction through contract execution.\n\n● Develop customized proposals and solutions based on the clinical and operational needs of \n\nprospective clients.\n\n● Negotiate and help close new pharmacy service agreements.\n\n● Develop referral relationships with healthcare professionals, community organizations, providers, \n\nand other strategic partners.\n\n● Meet or exceed established growth, revenue, patient, and facility acquisition goals.New Account Implementation & OnboardingThe Commercial General Manager will remain actively involved after a contract is signed and will \n own the commercial side of implementation through successful launch.● Lead implementation planning for new facilities and programs.\n\n● Serve as the primary commercial liaison between the new client, pharmacy operations,\n\nclinical teams, billing, technology partners, and executive leadership.\n\n● Coordinate patient census information, medication profiles, prescriber information,\n\ninsurance information, medication administration records, packaging requirements, delivery \n\nrequirements, and other onboarding needs.\n\n● Establish implementation timelines, responsibilities, and launch dates.\n\n● Coordinate with the pharmacy team to ensure adequate staffing, inventory, packaging, delivery, \n\ntechnology, and operational capacity prior to onboarding new beds and patients.\n\n● Proactively communicate upcoming growth and expected volume to pharmacy leadership.\n\n● Identify operational risks before launch and coordinate solutions.\n\n● Ensure new accounts receive a smooth transition from their existing pharmacy provider.\n\n● Remain closely involved during the initial post-launch period to ensure service\n\nexpectations are being met.\nCommercial & Operational Capacity Planning\n\nThe Commercial General Manager will serve as a critical connection between commercial growth and \n pharmacy operations.\n\n● Maintain visibility into the commercial pipeline and communicate expected new business to \n\npharmacy leadership.\n\n● Translate the sales pipeline into anticipated patient counts, bed counts, prescription volume, \n\nlaunch dates, and operational requirements.\n\n● Work closely with pharmacy leadership to assess staffing, pharmacist coverage, technician \n\ncapacity, packaging capacity, delivery capacity, inventory, technology, and other resources \n\nrequired to support upcoming growth.\n\n● Participate in capacity and implementation planning before committing to major launch timelines.\n\n● Help prioritize onboarding schedules when multiple new accounts are launching simultaneously.\n\n● Ensure commercial commitments made to clients are operationally achievable.\n\n● Escalate potential capacity constraints or service risks before they impact clients.\n\nAccount Management, Retention & Expansion\n\nThe Commercial General Manager will maintain ownership of the commercial client relationship after \n\nimplementation.\n\n● Serve as a senior relationship contact for facilities and programs throughout the territory.\n\n● Conduct regular client check-ins, facility visits, and account reviews.\n\n● Develop strong relationships with facility leadership, nursing teams, clinical teams, \n\nprescribers, and other stakeholders.\n\n● Proactively identify service issues and coordinate with pharmacy operations to resolve them.\n\n● Monitor client satisfaction and identify potential retention risks.\n\n● Take ownership of commercial issues through resolution rather than simply escalating\n\nproblems.\n\n● Identify opportunities to expand pharmacy services within existing organizations.\n\n● Develop referrals and introductions from satisfied clients.\n\n● Maintain accountability for account retention and long-term relationship development.\n\nPrior Authorization Management\n\nPrior authorization management is an important component of our service model, particularly within \n\nbehavioral health and serious mental illness populations.\n\nThe Commercial General Manager will have responsibility for ensuring the end-to-end prior \n authorization workflow is functioning effectively for accounts within the market.\n\n● Oversee the PA process from identification of a prior authorization requirement through \n\nsubmission, follow-up, approval, denial management, and escalation.\n\n● Coordinate with pharmacy staff, prescriber offices, facilities, insurance plans, and other \n\nstakeholders to obtain required information and clinical documentation.\n\n● Ensure prior authorizations are communication regarding PA status.\n\n● Work with pharmacy leadership to continuously improve the PA workflow and eliminate avoidable \n\ndelays in therapy.\n\nThe Commercial General Manager does not
