GL Staffing is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Maintenance Helper to assist the maintenance team at a manufacturing facility.
Job Duties
- Assist maintenance technicians with routine equipment and facility maintenance
- Help troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and general upkeep
- Use basic hand and power tools safely
- Assist with cleaning, organizing, and maintaining maintenance work areas
- Help with equipment installations, repairs, and other projects as assigned
Requirements
- Previous maintenance, mechanical, construction, or industrial experience preferred
- Mechanically inclined with basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Willing to learn and take direction from experienced maintenance technicians
- Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Dependable with strong attendance and work ethic
- Able to perform physical work, including standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
