Job Description
Lead Fire Alarm Service Technician Brooklyn, NY (servicing the Tri-State area) $35/hr.-$50/hr.
An established fire protection company is seeking an experienced Lead Fire Alarm Service Technician to handle service calls, inspections, and system troubleshooting throughout the Tri-State area. This role is ideal for a technician with FDNY knowledge, S-98 certification (or familiarity), and strong technical experience looking for a stable company with growth potential.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Service, inspect, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems</li>
<li>Respond to service calls throughout the Tri-State area</li>
<li>Ensure systems meet FDNY codes and compliance standards</li>
<li>Perform system testing, maintenance, and repairs</li>
<li>Complete service reports and required documentation</li>
<li>Communicate with clients regarding service updates and findings</li>
</ul>
Requirements
<ul>
<li>Experience as a Fire Alarm Technician</li>
<li>S-98 Certification or knowledge of requirements</li>
<li>FDNY code knowledge required</li>
<li>NICET Level I or Level II preferred</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license (company vehicle provided)</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and manage service schedules</li>
<li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Willingness to travel throughout the Tri-State area</li>
