Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Porter to join our team. The Porter plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility, ensuring a welcoming environment for both guests and staff. This position requires a proactive individual who can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of events or meetings as needed.
- Monitor supplies and report any maintenance or repair needs to management.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with inquiries or requests.
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Care for landscaping by mowing, edging, watering, trimming shrubs/trees, planting seasonal flowers, and mulching.
- Support other staff members in various tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, or maintenance experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
