Maintenance Technician (Industrial)
Pay: $30–$38/hr
Schedule: Must be open to any shift (including weekends as needed)
Type: Full-Time
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician with a strong background in both mechanical and electrical systems within an industrial environment. This role is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex equipment and facility systems to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair issues in fluidic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and determine proper repair procedures using manuals, drawings, and schematics
- Repair or replace worn and defective components
- Perform building maintenance including roofing, carpentry, plumbing, electrical distribution, and masonry
- Fabricate parts and components from blueprints and technical drawings
- Install conduit, as well as water and air lines
- Install, move, and align production equipment using proper rigging techniques
- Repair or replace refractory materials in slot-type furnaces
- Support preventative and reactive maintenance activities across the facility
- Assist in training programs and mentor less experienced maintenance personnel as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong industrial maintenance experience (mechanical + electrical)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Experience troubleshooting complex manufacturing equipment
- Knowledge of rigging and equipment installation
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends when needed
