Role Description The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based at California Splendor Inc’s facility in Canby, OR. This role is responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting machines, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing repairs, and documenting maintenance activities in accordance with company procedures. The Maintenance Technician will conduct preventive maintenance, support equipment installations and upgrades, and respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime. This role collaborates closely with production, quality, and safety teams, follows all safety and food compliance standards, and participates in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment performance.

- Strong equipment maintenance and maintenance & repair skills, with experience working on production or manufacturing machinery.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting equipment issues and performing industrial maintenance in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience planning and executing preventive maintenance activities to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems commonly found in food or industrial production facilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders, and accurately document maintenance work.
- Commitment to safety practices, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance within a manufacturing setting.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field preferred.
- Previous maintenance experience in food production or similar manufacturing environment is beneficial.
