Job Summary: We are seeking a detailed- oriented and reliable experienced Janitorial candidate to join our team. The Ideal candidate has hands - on experience in a Janitorial Role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces.
- Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners.
- Clean windows, doors, and other glass surfaces as needed.
- Restock restroom and cleaning supplies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and proper chemical handling procedures.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and buffers (if applicable).
- Complete assigned cleaning tasks efficiently and on schedule.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
- Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to lift up to 35–50 pounds and perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing stairs throughout the shift.
- Comfortable using cleaning equipment and handling cleaning chemicals safely.
- Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, if required by the client.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 35–50 pounds.
- Dependable attendance and a positive work ethic.
