Environmental Cleaning Specialist
- Schedule: Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Contract Length: Long-term assignment through July 18, 2027
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Environmental Cleaning Specialist to join our production team in Sturgis, MI. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining strict cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards across our manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform heavy-duty industrial cleaning and sanitation throughout manufacturing and production spaces.
- Safely prepare, mix, and apply chemical solutions and solvents according to workplace safety standards and chemical guidelines (SDS).
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment to ensure work areas remain free of debris, hazardous materials, and production waste.
- Adhere strictly to company safety protocols, PPE requirements, and environmental compliance procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Prior experience in industrial cleaning, janitorial work, or manufacturing sanitation preferred.
- Ability to safely handle and mix chemical cleaning agents.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or with a team.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift standard industrial materials for extended 12-hour shifts.
- Must be local to or able to reliably commute to Sturgis, MI.
