Location: Primarily based in Ogden, UT and Salt Lake City, UT
Travel: Occasional travel between Ogden and Salt Lake City required
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional on-call or emergency response as needed

As we continue to grow our portfolio of residential properties, we are seeking a skilled and dependable full-time Maintenance Technician to join our in-house maintenance team.

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repair tasks across a variety of residential properties. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a broad range of hands-on experience, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and general repairs, including but not limited to drywall patching, painting, appliance repair, plumbing, and electrical work

  • Respond promptly to maintenance service requests and emergencies

  • Complete unit turns, including minor repairs and ensuring all systems are operational before move-in

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of common areas and exterior property features

  • Inspect buildings and systems to identify safety issues or needed repairs

  • Maintain tools and equipment in working order

  • Document all work performed and materials used through property management software

  • Provide excellent customer service to residents

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of general maintenance experience (residential or multi-family housing preferred)

  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Must be able to work independently and respond effectively in urgent situations

  • Familiarity with basic tools and safety procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with residential property maintenance or apartment unit turns

  • Basic HVAC knowledge or EPA certification (a plus, not required)
