Role Description The Lease Up Leasing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Gainesville, FL, focused on driving occupancy and creating a positive experience for prospective and current residents. Daily responsibilities include greeting and touring prospective residents, presenting community features and benefits, and managing the full leasing process from initial inquiry through lease execution. The specialist handles lease-related documentation, ensures accurate data entry in property management systems, and follows up with prospects to secure commitments. The role also involves supporting resident retention efforts, responding to resident questions and concerns, collaborating with onsite team members to achieve leasing goals, and assisting with marketing activities, events, and outreach to promote the community.

Qualifications

- Strong resident retention and customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships and fostering a positive community experience.
- Experience with lease administration and leases, including preparing, reviewing, and maintaining accurate leasing documentation and records.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage prospects, residents, and team members professionally and clearly.
- Previous leasing or property management experience in a multifamily or residential setting is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Gainesville, FL, including some evenings and weekends as needed for leasing activities.
- Comfort with property management software, basic computer applications, and digital tools used for leasing and resident communication.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple prospects and tasks simultaneously.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or leasing certifications are a plus.
