Role Description This full-time, on-site Maintenance Technician role is based in Mendota, IL. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Daily tasks include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, completing preventive maintenance activities, and assisting with equipment installations and upgrades. The role also involves documenting maintenance work, collaborating with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards. The Maintenance Technician will support continuous improvement efforts and may participate in root-cause analysis and maintenance planning.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance for manufacturing environments.
- Ability to perform Troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance programs, including inspections and scheduled servicing.
- Hands-on Maintenance & Repair skills for production machinery and facility systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in industrial maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, ideally with automated or high-volume equipment.
- Working knowledge of safety practices, lockout/tagout procedures, and basic tools and test equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work assigned shifts, occasional overtime, and support production needs as required.
