Overview

B2 Community Care is seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure our

facilities, equipment, and systems operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has hands-

on experience in electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance, a strong safety mindset, and a

commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

- Perform routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on electrical, mechanical, plumbing,

HVAC, and building systems

-Troubleshoot issues using electrical test tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment

- Replace worn components such as fasteners, belts, bearings, seals, and lubricants

- Restore equipment to optimal operating condition while minimizing downtime

Facility Maintenance

-Repair and maintain fixtures, doors, flooring, lighting, and grounds as needed

Safety Compliance

- Follow all safety procedures, protocols, and environmental regulations

- Comply with company and state standards

- Participate in safety meetings and trainings

Documentation

- Maintain accurate work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, parts inventory, and

service reports

Continuous Improvement

-Identify recurring issues and recommend solutions

- Contribute to root-cause analysis and process improvements

-Emergency On-Call Support

- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours maintenance, as needed

Qualifications

Experience

- 2–4 years of maintenance or related experience required

- Fleet maintenance or residential/commercial construction experience is a plus

Technical Skills

- Basic electrical knowledge (controls, wiring diagrams, voltages)

-Mechanical aptitude (pumps, gearboxes, bearings, belts)

- HVAC familiarity and basic controls (preferred)

-Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals

Tools & Equipment

- Proficient with hand and power tools

- Experience using multimeters and electrical testing equipment

Certifications (Preferred, Not Required)

- OSHA 10/30

- NFPA

- EPA Lead-Safe

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

- Comfortable working in confined spaces

-Capable of performing physically demanding tasks

Soft Skills

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

- Good communication skills

- Reliability and teamwork

Education

- High School Diploma or equivalent required

-Associate degree or technical certification in Maintenance, Industrial Maintenance,

Electromechanics, or related field preferred

Location & Schedule

-Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (overtime as needed)
