Job Summary
LJ’s Cleaning Solutions is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee warehouse custodial operations at a client facility. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supervising the custodial team, maintaining cleaning standards, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring daily operations run safely and efficiently.
A current resume is required for consideration. This position must be the candidate’s primary and only job, as the Site Supervisor is required to be on-call.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the warehouse custodial crew
- Coordinate employee schedules and daily assignments
- Conduct daily inspections and ensure quality standards are met
- Train, coach, and support custodial employees
- Monitor cleaning supplies, equipment, and inventory
- Communicate professionally with HR, clients, vendors, and management
- Use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and standard office equipment
- Assist with hands-on cleaning as needed
- Clean offices, restrooms, administrative areas, and warehouse spaces
- Perform floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and operating floor scrubbers
- Manage trash removal and compactor duties
- Operate forklifts, tuggers, and other warehouse equipment
- Assist with weekly freezer de-icing and reporting
- Ensure OSHA, SDS, PPE, and company safety procedures are followed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4+ years of management or supervisory experience
- 4+ years of custodial, industrial, or related cleaning experience
- Previous warehouse or industrial experience
- Experience operating forklifts, floor scrubbers, and tuggers
- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and E-Verify
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and SDS sheets
- Comfortable working in cold/freezer environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work independently and lead a team
