Founded in 1906, Oahu Country Club has proudly served its members for over 119 years. As Hawaiʻi’s oldest private member-only golf club, we’re known for our timeless charm, world-class course, and deep-rooted sense of community. Now, we’re looking for a Groundskeeper to help us preserve and enhance our beautiful grounds.
Summary:
This position is responsible for supporting the maintenance of various areas around the golf course and club grounds. Through the direction of the supervisory staff, you will help prepare the golf course for play, and maintain tools & equipment properly while working with the guiding principles of honesty and respect.
Main Responsibilities:
- Mowing greens and tees with walk-behind mowers
- Repairing ball marks, trimming, and edging
- Raking and maintaining sand traps
- Pruning, weeding, and caring for landscaped areas
- Assisting with aeration, irrigation, and drainage projects
- Operating utility vehicles and landscaping tools
- Cleaning up debris and supporting storm recovery efforts
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license (must be able to operate manual/standard vehicles)
- Ability to work safely, follow directions, and be a reliable team player
- Landscaping or groundskeeping experience is a plus – but we’ll train motivated individuals
