Job Description Our client is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead infrastructure upkeep, maintenance programs, and regulatory compliance across daily operations. You'll work closely with maintenance staff, contractors, and leadership to keep facilities, paved surfaces, drainage, vegetation, signage, and specialized equipment running safely and efficiently.
Compensation & Highlights:
- $41 per hour
- Contract position
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor:
- Lead and supervise maintenance staff day-to-day, including assigning work, coaching, and ensuring safety compliance.
- Oversee regulatory and safety compliance through inspections, hazard mitigation, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Manage the CMMS work order system, tracking maintenance requests through to completion.
- Coordinate seasonal and weather-related operations, including snow and ice response and emergency readiness.
- Oversee contractors, inventories, reporting, budgeting, procurement, and long-range maintenance planning.
Qualifications of the Maintenance Supervisor:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, public administration, construction management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience leading teams through complex maintenance operations.
- Knowledge of infrastructure maintenance, pavement systems, markings, lighting, drainage, grounds programs, snow removal, and related regulations.
- Experience with budgeting, procurement, compliance, contractor oversight, Microsoft Office, and CMMS systems.
