As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government transit location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to situations with calm professionalism. You will communicate clearly with the public and site partners, document activity, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service. This is an armed post requiring an Armed Guard Card or License.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
- Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, licensing requirements, and post orders, including following use of force guidelines and completing required documentation.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with local law enforcement and/or on-site transit personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout transit facilities, platforms, entrances, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
- Monitor access points, observe for suspicious activity, and prepare clear written reports of incidents, hazards, and/or policy violations per site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
