Experienced Handyman/Technician
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Handyman/Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, including expertise in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, and drywall repair. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks on residential and commercial properties throughout the greater Salt Lake area.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including:
- Electrical repairs and installations
- HVAC system maintenance and repair
- Plumbing repairs and installations
- Painting and interior/exterior finishing
- Drywall repair and installation
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to determine the best course of action.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to safety regulations and best practices.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a handyman or technician.
- Proven expertise in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, and drywall repair.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Great references from former employers and/or clients with methods to validate history.
