Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Specialist 3 to develop, plan, and oversee maintenance and operational activities for mechanical systems, with some responsibilities extending into electrical systems. This senior-level role focuses on ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards while coordinating with engineering and operations teams to maintain system reliability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance and operations plans for mechanical systems
- Ensure maintenance strategies align with regulatory, safety, and industry standards
- Schedule, organize, and prioritize maintenance activities to support operational goals
- Prepare technical documentation, work instructions, and maintenance procedures
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, and external vendors to resolve technical issues
- Support and occasionally oversee maintenance of electrical systems where applicable
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability
- Provide expertise during inspections, audits, and compliance reviews
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance planning or related field
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, reliability practices, and maintenance methodologies
- Ability to create and manage maintenance schedules and technical documentation
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
- Degree in Maintenance Management or a related technical field
- Experience supporting maintenance activities in industrial, utility, or power-generation settings
- Familiarity with electrical maintenance planning.
