Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Specialist 3 to develop, plan, and oversee maintenance and operational activities for mechanical systems, with some responsibilities extending into electrical systems. This senior-level role focuses on ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards while coordinating with engineering and operations teams to maintain system reliability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance and operations plans for mechanical systems
  • Ensure maintenance strategies align with regulatory, safety, and industry standards
  • Schedule, organize, and prioritize maintenance activities to support operational goals
  • Prepare technical documentation, work instructions, and maintenance procedures
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, and external vendors to resolve technical issues
  • Support and occasionally oversee maintenance of electrical systems where applicable
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability
  • Provide expertise during inspections, audits, and compliance reviews
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

Qualifications

Required:

  • 10+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance planning or related field
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, reliability practices, and maintenance methodologies
  • Ability to create and manage maintenance schedules and technical documentation
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

  • Degree in Maintenance Management or a related technical field
  • Experience supporting maintenance activities in industrial, utility, or power-generation settings
  • Familiarity with electrical maintenance planning.
