The Dundee Township Park District is looking for dedicated and hardworking Custodians to help maintain our beautiful spaces for everyone to enjoy!
What You’ll Do
As a Custodian, you’ll:
- Ensure facilities are clean and ready for guests by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
- Set up and take down rooms for classes, programs, and rentals.
- Perform minor building maintenance and light repairs such as changing lightbulbs and painting.
- Support the team by monitoring building safety, securing doors and windows, and reporting any issues.
- Maintain outdoor areas, including shoveling snow and salting sidewalks when needed.
- Represent the Dundee Township Park District’s Mission by creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all.
Who You Are
You’re a proactive team player with:
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and take initiative.
- A positive attitude and good communication skills.
- A willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- A minimum age of 18 years old and a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of cleaning tools and equipment (vacuums, buffers, floor machines) is a plus!
Schedule
Work hours vary:
- Monday – Friday between 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Saturday & Sunday between 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM or 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Hours may change based on program needs or after-hours rentals.
