Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the maintenance department to maximize equipment uptime and operational output.
- Utilize tools such as KAIZEN to enhance preventive maintenance efforts and plant productivity.
- Design and implement a strategic maintenance plan incorporating preventive, predictive, and corrective measures.
- Oversee maintenance procedures and ensure all systems meet production and safety standards.
- Recommend equipment purchasing strategies that align with plant goals while maximizing cost efficiency and resource use.
- Optimize usage of the CMMS platform and continuously improve maintenance tracking systems.
- Support sustainability projects, including energy assessments and facility audits, while staying up to date on regulatory compliance.
- Supervise maintenance personnel and ensure the upkeep of all machinery, tools, and plant infrastructure.
- Review contractor bids, manage vendor negotiations, and oversee maintenance budgets, invoices, and records.
Candidate Requirements:
- Demonstrated success in a maintenance leadership role within food manufacturing
- In-depth technical knowledge of HVAC, PLC systems, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in a food processing environment is essential.
- Experienced in planning, budgeting, and cost estimation, with excellent interpersonal skills.
