Event Dates: Thursday, August 27 – Saturday, August 29, 2026
Temporary Event Work United Talent Staffing is hiring Event Staff for Rock the Country in Ocala, FL! This is a great opportunity to earn extra money while working in a fun, fast-paced outdoor music festival environment. We are currently hiring General Store Workers and Custodial/Shower Attendants for multiple shifts throughout the event. Pay General Store Workers: $12.00/hour + tips
Custodial/Shower Attendants: $14.00/hour Available Shifts Thursday, August 27
- General Store Worker: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Shower Attendants: 2 positions | 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Friday, August 28
- General Store Worker: 1 position | 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Custodial Attendants: 2 positions | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Custodial Attendants: 2 positions | 9:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Saturday, August 29
- General Store Worker: 1 position | 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Custodial Attendants: 2 positions | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Custodial Attendants: 2 positions | 9:00 PM – 12:00 AM
General Store Worker Responsibilities
- Greet and assist festival guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer questions and provide assistance with merchandise and store items
- Operate the cash register and accurately process transactions
- Stock and restock merchandise throughout the shift
- Keep the general store clean, organized, and guest-ready
- Work with the hospitality team to provide a positive guest experience
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and other event needs as assigned
- Follow all event safety procedures and supervisor instructions
Custodial/Shower Attendant Responsibilities
- Maintain clean, organized, and presentable shower and guest areas
- Restock necessary supplies and amenities
- Monitor shower facilities and report maintenance or supply needs
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to festival guests
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation throughout the shift
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and general event support
- Help with light hospitality duties, including delivering refreshments when needed
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and event guidelines
Requirements
- Previous retail, hospitality, food service, custodial, or event experience is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, helpful attitude
- Dependable and able to report on time for all scheduled shifts
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor festival environment
- Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be available for the full assigned shift
