What You'll Do
As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining the overall appearance, functionality, and safety of the property. Responsibilities include:
- Completing service requests in occupied apartment homes
- Performing preventative maintenance and routine repairs
- Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues
- Preparing vacant apartment homes for new residents
- Conducting property inspections and identifying maintenance concerns
- Maintaining common areas and grounds as needed
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and professionally
- Providing excellent customer service to residents and property staff
Qualifications
- Previous apartment maintenance experience required
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance repairs
- Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues independently
- Experience with make-ready turns preferred
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift, carry, and move maintenance equipment and supplies as needed
