Position Overview
The Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance operations for our aggregate production facilities, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of all equipment. This role is critical in maintaining production efficiency, implementing preventative maintenance strategies, and leading a team of maintenance professionals in a safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies for aggregate production equipment to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
- Lead and manage the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Monitor equipment performance and reliability, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with MSHA regulations and safety standards in all maintenance activities.
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to minimize disruptions to production.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs.
- Manage maintenance budgets and resources efficiently to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the aggregates or mining industry.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance practices for aggregate production equipment and processes.
- Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience with MSHA regulations and compliance is a plus.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on reliability and preventative maintenance strategies.
