Apartment Maintenance Technician | Residential CommunityLocation: Wauwatosa, WI

We are seeking a dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance operations of our residential community in Wauwatosa. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys a variety of maintenance responsibilities. What You'll Do
- Prepare apartment homes for new move-ins by completing maintenance and repair work.
- Respond to resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform preventative maintenance throughout the property.
- Troubleshoot and repair residential plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and carpentry issues.
- Complete drywall repairs, painting, door and lock maintenance, and fixture replacements.
- Inspect community amenities and common areas to ensure they remain safe and well-maintained.
- Assist with seasonal property maintenance, including snow removal and ice management.
- Participate in the rotating on-call schedule for emergency maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate work orders and maintenance records.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed.
Qualifications Required Skills & Knowledge
- Experience performing maintenance in apartment communities, residential properties, hotels, or similar environments.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and general carpentry.
- Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and complete repairs efficiently.
- Familiarity with work order systems and preventative maintenance programs.
- Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Reliable transportation and auto insurance.
