Location: Petersburg, VA Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour (based on experience and certifications)

Reliant Solutions, Inc. is seeking a professional and dependable Armed Security Officer to help protect our staff, clients, visitors, and property. This position requires a high level of professionalism, alertness, and the ability to respond quickly and effectively to any situation in a behavioral health services environment.

Responsibilities

· Patrol assigned areas to maintain a safe and secure environment.

· Monitor entrances/exits and authorize personnel or visitor access.

· Respond to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including medical and safety events.

· Deter and respond to suspicious activities and security breaches.

· Enforce company safety and security policies.

· Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate activity logs.

· Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.

Requirements

· Minimum age: 21 years.

· High school diploma or GED.

· Current Armed Security Officer registration with the Virginia DCJS.

· Current firearms certification and ability to maintain qualifications.

· Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and physical fitness assessment.

· Strong communication and decision-making skills.

· Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods and respond quickly in emergencies.

· First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred.

· Prior law enforcement, military, or security experience a plus.
