Alexander Chapman is partnering with an established real estate investment firm based in Westport, CT, seeking an Asset Management Associate to join its investment team.

The firm focuses on opportunistic real estate equity investments across industrial, multifamily, and other commercial real estate asset classes.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with hands-on real estate asset management experience who is looking to develop further within a real estate investment platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the asset management of commercial real estate investments across industrial, multifamily, and other property types.
- Monitor asset-level performance, financial results, and business plan execution.
- Build and maintain financial models, cash flow projections, and investment analyses.
- Evaluate property operating performance, budgets, leasing activity, and capital expenditures.
- Assist with asset-level reporting, valuations, and investment recommendations.
- Work with internal investment teams and external operating partners to support portfolio performance.
- Assist with refinancing, dispositions, and other asset-level investment decisions.

Requirements
\n

- 2–5 years of relevant real estate asset management experience.
- Experience at a real estate private equity firm, investment manager, or similar real estate investment platform.
- Exposure to industrial, multifamily, or commercial real estate investments.
- Strong financial modeling, underwriting, and analytical skills.
- Understanding of real estate investment performance, cash flows, and asset-level business plans.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an investment team.
