We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to service and maintain 12 properties within a 20-minute radius of Roseville/St. Paul. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, repairs, tenant improvement tasks, and general handyman duties such as fixture and light bulb replacements. Additionally, tasks will include painting, carpentry, patchwork, and construction tasks, along with MEP-related responsibilities in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical as needed.
Responsibilities
- Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs across 12 properties.
- Perform tenant improvement and handyman tasks, including fixture and light bulb replacements.
- Engage in general painting, carpentry, and patchwork tasks.
- Execute construction tasks and manage MEP responsibilities in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical areas.
- Troubleshoot building automation systems.
- Maintain effective customer service to support 90% tenant occupancy across commercial facilities.
Essential Skills
- 6+ year of experience in facilities maintenance
- Proficiency in plumbing, HVAC, and boiler systems
- Skills in carpentry, painting, drywall, and fixtures installation
- Experience with building automation and electrical systems
- Strong troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent customer service skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Possession of a Special Boilers License
- EPA Universal certification is a nice-to-have

Work Environment
This role involves working across 28 buildings on 12 property campuses, predominantly consisting of commercial, dental, healthcare, and chiropractic clinics. With a total area of roughly 1 million square feet and a 90% tenant capacity, customer service is critical. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with an on-call rotation shared among five team members.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $104000.00/yr.
Company vehicle from day 1. Ability to grow quickly into leadership roles as previously tenured employees recently retired. Health/dental/vision insurance.
