The Plantation at Ponte Vedra Beach is seeking a Building/Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance requests promptly as assigned
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our residential and oceanfront buildings and systems
- Maintain the campus facilities and ensure that all areas are clean and well-maintained
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems
- Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Maintenance experience or related field experience a plus
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall and mechanical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Will Train the right person

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Will Train the right person
Physical Demands and Work Environment

The employee regularly comes into contact with water, sanitation solutions, meat products, poultry products, seafood, and produce items. The employee is frequently required to wash hands. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
