NOW HIRING: PRICEBOOK COORDINATOR
The Pricebook Coordinator ensures accurate data flow and performs maintenance of all product information via hosted centralized back office to support all store level Point of Sale systems; In this role, you will be responsible for managing the integrity and efficiency of the price book system. The coordinator regularly communicates with 3rd party vendors, Retail Operations, Marketing, Brand Marketing, IT, and Accounting. The position requires strong organizational skills, exceptional computer skills, familiarity with computer file organization structures, attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Spreadsheet and margin analysis, including sorting and structuring data to develop effective pricing strategies and accurate record keeping, is an essential function of this position. The position requires the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and consistently strives to meet timelines.
Hybrid Work Schedule: Remote Monday & Friday with Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday in the Long Beach Support Center.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Ensure price changes and pricebook entries are completed accurately and in advance of changes taking place at store level
· Work closely with Marketing to maintain pricebook items and ensure pricebook policies and procedures are followed
· Execute promotional discounts to support sales and marketing strategies
· Work with external vendors to ensure accurate item profiles and costs
· Research, troubleshoot, and respond to user-related pricebook inquiries
· Prepare, prioritize, and enter cost and retail data files into software and verify accuracy
· Analyze and evaluate reports from multiple sources and provide recommendations
· Follow data program techniques and procedures to maintain data integrity
· Communicate with and support various departmental needs within organization
· Complete special assignments as requested
· Review manufacturer contracts and manage vendor rebate invoicing
· Assist with creating a pricebook for new sites
· Process electronically delivered cost updates from Wholesalers
· Process payment deductions for vendors that overcharge store invoices
· Analyze scan data reporting and submit to tobacco manufacturers in a timely manner
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
· 2+ years of experience in retail business (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or Accounting is preferred
· High School or GED is required
· Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
· Excellent communication skills and ability to interact positively with team members and vendors
· Ability to organize and prioritize to meet goals and initiatives
· Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to take initiative
· Ability to take on new tasks with high level of difficulty
· Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
· Analytical skills with a working knowledge of retail concepts
· Basic Math Skills
· Must be a team player, self-motivated, and project a positive attitude
· Critical thinking skills to make recommendations for process improvements
· Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced environment
· Able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. if hired
