Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to support daily operations by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment and facility systems. This role plays a key part in minimizing downtime, promoting workplace safety, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and general repairs, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic work
- Troubleshoot equipment issues using electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
- Accurately document all maintenance activities in the maintenance tracking system
- Identify opportunities to improve machine performance and maintenance procedures
- Perform basic facility maintenance as needed
- Use tools and equipment safely while following OSHA standards and company safety policies
- Communicate effectively with team members and leadership, both verbally and in writing
- Maintain organized work areas and high housekeeping standards
- Complete additional duties as assigned by supervision
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills on industrial machinery
- Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Experience using a wide range of power tools
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical prints
- Basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, welding, HVAC, and electrical systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions
