Job DescriptionSummary:

A well-established beverage manufacturing company in the Fort Lauderdale area is seeking an experienced Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor to lead maintenance and facilities operations for their high-volume production facility. This hands-on role will oversee maintenance for packaging and brewing systems, ensure facility reliability, and directly support production uptime. The ideal candidate is experienced in both equipment and facility maintenance within a beverage production or similar manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
* Equipment Maintenance
* Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for production and packaging equipment, including canning lines, kegging lines, fillers, seamers, conveyors, tray formers, and brewing systems.
* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime.
* Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules to ensure uninterrupted production operations.
* Maintain detailed maintenance records, parts inventories, and vendor interactions.
* Train and support production staff in safe operation and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
* Facilities Management
* Oversee all facility operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, lighting, and building systems.
* Coordinate service contracts, inspections, and repairs with outside vendors and contractors.
* Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and environmental standards.
* Plan and execute facility improvement projects and equipment installations.
* Manage maintenance budgets, procurement, and capital improvements.
* Respond to urgent maintenance needs or after-hours emergencies as required.
* Supervise 1-2 maintenance technicians, providing hands-on leadership and guidance.

Qualifications

* 5+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a beverage, or food manufacturing setting.
* Leadership experience.
* Proven ability to maintain and repair packaging line systems and related equipment.
* Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and plumbing schematics.
* Proficient with Excel and other computer-based maintenance tracking tools.
* Flexible and responsive to after-hours maintenance needs.
