The Handyman Maintenance professional will provide versatile and reliable maintenance support within commercial settings throughout the Greater Pittsburgh PA Region. This role requires foundational skills in plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and flooring to perform general repairs and installations efficiently. Operating independently with a flexible full-time schedule, the handyman will utilize company-provided tools and a vehicle to ensure timely and effective service. This position offers competitive hourly pay based on ability, with benefits including paid vacation, holidays, and retirement plans.
Responsibilities
- Perform plumbing repairs and installations
- Conduct carpentry tasks including repairs and basic construction
- Handle electrical maintenance and minor wiring tasks
- Install and repair various types of flooring
- Complete general maintenance and upkeep duties
- Operate company vehicle and maintain tools
- Work independently in commercial environments
- Occasionally work weekends or after hours as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in general maintenance
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, and flooring installation
- Proficient in use of hand and power tools
- Vehicle operation skills
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills
