Job Description

We are currently hiring two full-time Facilities Maintenance employees to assist with the daily upkeep and maintenance of Manker Patten Tennis Club. Ideal candidates are dependable, hardworking, and comfortable performing a variety of tasks, primarily outdoors.

Schedule: This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week (5 days), with every other weekend required. Additional hours may be requested based on operational needs.

This position requires a 6:00 AM start time. Punctuality and reliability are essential. Applicants must be able to consistently arrive on time and meet scheduled work commitments. Please consider the early start time before applying.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following.

Perform general facility maintenance, primarily outdoors
Assist with landscaping, construction, plumbing, electrical work, general repairs, etc.
Maintain tennis courts, including dragging and sweeping
Refill water stations throughout the facility

Qualifications & Physical Requirements:

Ability to safely operate a golf cart and power tools
Ability to lift 80+ pounds
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Strong time management skills and attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED preferred

All applicants must be able to pass a background check.

Benefits

Healthcare Stipend: After six months of full-time employment, employees become eligible to receive financial assistance toward health insurance costs.
Paid Vacation: After six months of full-time employment, employees are eligible for one week of paid vacation.
Compensation: Starting pay is $20 per hour. Employees may be eligible for raises based on performance, reliability, worth ethic, and length of employment.
