This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive rate of $23 per hour and the opportunity to make a positive impact on the safety of students, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities:
Provide a visible security presence on school premises to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety.
Monitor school grounds, entrances, and exits to prevent unauthorized entry.
Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, following established protocols.
Conduct regular patrols and security checks of all school areas.
Enforce school policies and safety procedures in collaboration with staff.
Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with school administration and law enforcement when necessary.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding armed security.

Qualifications:
Valid armed security license or certification as required by state/local regulations.
Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred.
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
Excellent observational and communication skills.
Physical fitness and the ability to perform security duties while wearing tactical gear.
