OverviewSterling Engineering is partnering with a well-established, employee-owned manufacturing company seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to join their Franklin, WI team.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility and production equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Complete scheduled preventative maintenance activities
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical documentation
- Repair and maintain facility systems including mechanical, plumbing, and basic electrical equipment
- Assist with equipment installations and machine setup
- Use CMMS software to document maintenance activities and order replacement parts
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, hoists, and other maintenance equipment
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing best practices
- Assist with training less experienced maintenance technicians as needed
QualificationsRequired:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- 1-3 years of maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, automotive, mechanical, or HVAC environment
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
- Experience using common hand and power tools
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CMMS systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance requests
Preferred:
- Industrial manufacturing maintenance experience
- Basic HVAC knowledge
- NFPA 70E training
- Refrigeration certification
