The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operation needs of a newly constructed apartment community and reports directly to the community manager. The candidate must live very close to the property to be able to respond to calls. Daily responsibilities include answering tenant calls related to maintenance issues and resolving those issues, meeting with contractors and confirming work performed, assisting the management with various construction projects, and completing tasks as instructed by management. Experience with basic plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, fire sprinkler, electric, landscaping and janitorial cleaning is preferred. Salary based on experience.

Requirements

 Good English communication skills, both verbal and written

 Must work well with others

 Must have basic understanding of hand and electrical tools

 Available to respond to after-hours emergencies preferred (overtime)

 Must have valid driver’s license - no exceptions
