Join Our Team as a Staff Pharmacist
As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications. This role offers a variety of schedule options to fit your lifestyle, along with pay incentives for those seeking additional income.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense medications, drugs, and other pharmaceuticals for patient care
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and verify required formulas and ingredients
- Provide oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians on preparation, packaging, and labeling procedures
- Maintain compliance with all quality assurance protocols, controlled substance security measures, and hazardous waste disposal regulations
- Accurately enter and manage patient and prescription data
- Verify medication identity, purity, and strength through appropriate testing procedures
- Educate interns and other healthcare staff on pharmacy practices
- Provide support and oversight to various shifts as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- Active Kentucky Pharmacist License (additional state licenses a plus)
