About the Position
Officers will help protect client properties throughout the Salisbury area, including retail locations, commercial properties, and comparable sites. Because assignments are coordinated around client coverage requirements, your designated worksite may vary.
The ideal candidate is dependable, punctual, and comfortable traveling to different locations within the service area. Maintaining a professional presence and following the procedures established for each property are essential parts of the role.
Your Responsibilities on Site
You will help safeguard assigned locations by staying observant, following security procedures, and communicating relevant information promptly.

Maintain an active security presence: Help discourage theft, unauthorized entry, and other unwanted activity through visible, attentive coverage.

Inspect assigned premises: Patrol interior spaces and exterior areas to identify potential hazards, suspicious behavior, or security weaknesses.

Monitor access points: Observe entrances and other designated areas, following the access-control procedures established for the site.

Provide courteous assistance: Interact professionally with customers, employees, and visitors while addressing routine questions appropriately.

Follow incident response procedures: Respond to emergencies and security incidents in accordance with site instructions and established protocols.

Observe and communicate concerns: Report unusual activity identified during patrols or through available surveillance systems.

Keep complete records: Prepare accurate daily activity logs and incident reports to document observations, events, and actions taken.
Candidate Requirements
We are seeking applicants who demonstrate sound judgment, consistent attendance, and a professional approach to their work.
To be eligible for consideration, you must:

Hold the appropriate Maryland security guard certification or be eligible to obtain it through our licensed agency in accordance with Maryland State Police (MSP) requirements.

Meet Maryland's minimum age and eligibility standards for security work.

Successfully pass the required criminal background check.

Have dependable transportation to reach assigned locations throughout the Salisbury area.

Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and professional conduct.

Be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Experience is welcome, but not mandatory. Previous security experience is an advantage; candidates without a security background are also encouraged to apply if they meet the applicable eligibility requirements.
Pay, Scheduling and Additional Opportunities

Uniform and Equipment
A clean, professional Class A black uniform is required. Candidates must be able to obtain the necessary uniform for their assignments. Radios may be provided based on the operational requirements of the assigned location.
Officers are expected to maintain appropriate appearance standards and follow all applicable site and company procedures.
