Maintenance Technician - Entry-Level | Hands-On Training!

No extensive maintenance experience is required! We’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, basic mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn from experienced maintenance professionals.

Multiple Shifts Available

This position works in a refrigerated environment averaging approximately 36&degree;F year-round. Think December weather every day! The environment is cold and wet, and you must be comfortable working in these conditions throughout your shift. Proper cold-weather clothing is essential.

What You'll Do:

-Assist with troubleshooting equipment and identifying mechanical issues.

-Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systems.

-Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.

-Replace basic components such as belts, hoses, filters, light bulbs, and fixtures.

-Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvement projects.

-Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and inspection records.

-Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

-Work alongside experienced technicians to learn new maintenance skills.

What We're Looking For:

-High school diploma or GED required.

-0-1 year of maintenance experience preferred.

-Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, construction, facilities, or other hands-on environments is a plus.

-Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools.

-Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

-Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and work well with a team.

-Willingness to learn and develop a career in maintenance.

-Ability to work in a cold, wet environment averaging 36&degree;F throughout the shift.

Physical Requirements:

-Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and reach frequently.

-Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials or equipment as needed.

-Ability to perform physical work throughout a 10-hour shift.

-Comfort working in refrigerated conditions for the duration of the shift.
