Job Responsibilities:
- Paint, remodel, and refurbish areas as needed
- Repair, maintain/monitor all equipment and amenities
- Change of all filters for HVAC/ Compressors as required
- Change light bulbs, interior and exterior, as needed
- Provides building cleaning
- Maintain exterior property, including snow and weed removal
- Daily trash removal, sweeping/vacuuming, cleaning/ cleaning exterior entryways
- Candidate must have general knowledge in electrical, carpentry, and plumbing
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned
- Help with production tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and grounds to identify issues
- Perform minor fixes, including repairing broken locks and damaged walls.
- Perform landscaping, mowing and gardening activities when needed
- Work with supervisor to create a maintenance check list, as well as cleaning schedule
- Driver's license required
- Operate truck for snow removal
- On call for snow removal.
- Install, adjust, disassemble, repair, and reassemble motors, gearboxes, pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders, valves, and other components.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance and work orders as part of daily activities and as assigned
- Willing to work overtime based on business requirements
- Keep work areas and equipment clean
- Experience with basic rigging using chain falls, hoists, and slings
- Use of common power tools, hand tools, and shop equipment
Preferred Qualifications in one or both of the following
- A strong ability in either fabrication of steel racks, carts, and other production support equipment
- Some experience with electrical systems, running conduit, sizing, and pulling wire.
- Repair broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures; inspect plumbing infrastructure to prevent water damage or system failure.
Requirements and Physical Demands:
- Must be physically able to access all equipment
- Must be physically and mentally capable of working at heights up to 70 feet
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Must have mathematics ability and be able to use measuring equipment including but not limited to dial calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges
- Must be able to read and communicate in both English written and verbal form to ensure safe and effective performance of the job, including the successful operation of the business.
- This job requires frequent stooping, bending, standing, kneeling, reaching, climbing, pulling, pushing, crouching, walking, and lifting. May require crawling and twisting
- Must be able to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes
- Follow all plant safety rules/policies
- Excellent attendance and positive attitude
