Job Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, painting, and other building systems.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

· Develop maintenance procedures and schedules.

· Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.

· Assesses building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules, such as Installation of Extrusion & Thermoforming Equipment

· Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.

· Assists with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects.

· Daily and weekly Preventive Maintenance (PM)

· Assist and communicate with contractors on new TI projects for piping, air compressors, water, and electrical.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

· GMPs and SQF Compliance are required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, electrical, mechanical and PLC troubleshooting skills

· Ability to read electrical schematics and print drawings

· Electrical wiring experience

· Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.

· Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

· Ability to operate a forklift

· Effective communication skills

· Attention to detail; able to recognize, troubleshoot and repair equipment.

· Bilingual a plus (Spanish)

Education and Experience:

· Associate’s degree or equivalent required.

· Maintenance experience required.

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance.

· Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed.

Must be able to lift 75-100 pounds at a time.
