First Montgomery Group is seeking a skilled and dependable Punch List Maintenance Technician to join our team at a newly constructed property in Cherry Hill, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards.

In this hands-on role, you will perform a variety of punch list and finishing tasks, including carpentry, drywall repairs, painting, flooring, plumbing, and basic electrical work. If you enjoy solving problems, working independently, and seeing projects through to completion, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Complete punch list items and assigned tasks under the direction of the Superintendent
• Perform general maintenance and repairs, including:
  • Carpentry and finish work
  • Framing and drywall repair/replacement
  • Texture matching and painting
  • Flooring installation and repairs
  • Basic plumbing and electrical work
• Ensure work is completed on time and meets quality standards
• Coordinate with Superintendents and Project Managers to address project needs
• Prioritize daily workload and communicate project progress effectively
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Proactively identify and resolve outstanding issues before project completion
• Accurately document completed work and maintain electronic records

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of punch list, maintenance, construction, or related experience
• Strong knowledge of carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and general repair work
• Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems
• Familiarity with construction safety practices, building codes, and quality standards
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Basic computer skills for electronic documentation and reporting
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable transportation and ability to provide your own hand tools

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull construction materials and tools
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in varying site conditions
• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the day

Required Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must successfully pass a drug screening and physical examination
• Valid driver's license
• High School Diploma or equivalent
