Maintenance Technician
Reports to Operations Manager
Job Description 
Perform a variety of maintenance tasks involving production and associated support equipment, office and plant facilities.
Essential Functions
<ul>
<li>Assist in the installation, repair and overhaul of production, support and shop equipment.</li>
<li>Troubleshooting of equipment malfunctions.</li>
<li>Perform and document preventative maintenance of assigned equipment.</li>
<li>Assist in the changeover of production equipment in response to customer's schedules.</li>
<li>Assist in the design, construction and modification of equipment and tooling to improve safety, quality and productivity.</li>
</ul>
Additional Responsibilities 
<ul>
<li>Special projects as assigned.</li>
<li>Basic building maintenance.</li>
<li>Purchase replacement parts for machines and workshop if necessary, with the approval of the Operations Manager.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Exceptional organizational skills</li>
<li>High School or Vocational School Diploma</li>
<li>Must be able to set up and proficiently use common shop metal and wood working tools and equipment</li>
<li>Self-motivated, work independently</li>
<li>Computer literate or trainable</li>
<li>PLC and electrical experience a plus</li>
<li>Metal, acrylic and wood fabrication</li>
<li>Able to work overtime and Saturdays</li>
</ul>
