Position Details
Location: Gaffney, SC, USA
Pay Rate: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
Position Summary
The Security Director oversees all security operations at the assigned site in Gaffney, SC. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies and procedures to protect company assets, personnel, and information. Security Director needs to be available on the weekends, holidays, and after hours.
Responsibilities
• Develop and enforce security policies, protocols, and procedures consistent with company standards and regulatory requirements
• Manage security personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
• Monitor security systems and respond to incidents, alarms, or emergencies promptly and effectively
• Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits, recommending improvements to mitigate vulnerabilities
• Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency responders, and other external agencies as needed
• Maintain detailed security reports, incident logs, and documentation for compliance and review
• Lead security investigations for incidents such as theft, vandalism, or breaches
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and security regulations
Qualifications
• Proven experience in security management or a related role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of security systems, surveillance technology, and emergency response protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond to emergency situations
• Valid security licensing or certifications preferred, if applicable
Salary : $21.00-$22.00
